Biographical Notes:
Michael Augustus Thomas
A native Californian, Michael was born by San Francisco, but grew up in the
megalopolis outside Lost Angeles. Ancestors were pioneers in Kanzas,
Iowa and Wisconsin, mostly White Anglo-Saxon Protestants, with a dash of
African and American Indian blood. As an adult, he's lived a year and a half
on the west side of L.A., 2-1/2 years in Washingtown D.C., 1-1/2 years in
Checagou, and the rest of his life (to now) in San Miguel. Studied literature
at the University of California. Is currently contemplating returning to school
for work toward an M.F.A., but unsure where. Michael has been employed
as an actor, messenger, word processor, cemetery laborer, writing tutor, and
is presently working as a typesetter for a regional advertising company. He
speaks Spanish and French. Married with two children.
