Tuesday night Maria and I went walking on Revolution Avenue again. We bought a magazine we need for our class, an atlas of Mesoamerican archeology published by Arqueologia magazine. Went to the lower Sanborn's for coffee and molletes -- toasted bread covered with beans and cheese. When we went to her taxi, she forgot her portfolio. So I took it out to her office yesterday morning. Then went on toward CETYS on the hills above Lagos, toward Florido. I wanted to hear an artist's talk with an inSITE artist who's doing the Reglas del Juego project. But got there just as he was finishing. Too bad.
But it was an adventure anyway, wandering off into the hinterlands of Tijuana via minibusses and foot. Was almost up against the big hill called Cerro Colorado.
Am writing in the laundramat again. Soon I'll be going back to my little apartment and writing some more. Tonight is class night.
Maria and I have been talking about becomming novios. Maybe, maybe....
